Henry Cole is attempting to cover just one mile but cover that one mile faster than anyone else on earth has ever ridden it.
How do you prepare for a ride through nowhere? Miles and miles of it. Alone on his trusty KTM, Henry Cole is going to have plenty of thinking time as he attempts to travel from one of the world's most isolated cities, Perth, on Australia's far west coast, across vast swathes of nothing to the tropical climes of Darwin in the north. Miles of great empty red desert will surround him en route and, whilst the mileage is high, the soaring temperatures will be higher as well as relentless and merciless. This is endurance riding at it most intense. Even seeking out company after riding through the wilderness from miles can be harder than you'd imagine, as Henry discovers when he visits Binnu - population 6. To help break the monotony, Henry volunteers as a ranger at the Purlulu National Park, admiring the amazing solitude of the area up close. The endless seclusion and isolation can play tricks on any rider's mind during long stretches in the saddle but the breath-taking scenery and crazy characters popping up along the road could still make it a World's Greatest Motorcycle Ride. Henry just has to survive being baked alive in his leathers to tell the tale.

Henry Cole is off on his bike again this time riding some 4000Km on a Scandinavian adventure through Norway, Sweden, Southern Lapland and Finland. Henry sets out from Oslo in search of the best mountain riding on the planet through the Fjords of Norway. He also checks out some of the finest hotels and attractions including base jumping in Lisaboten, the annual extreme sports festival in Voss and the world famous Landscape Hotel. Henry also explores Bergen and Balastrade and attempts to try some of the traditional cuisine, boiled sheep’s head. But by the end of this first show Henry is way behind schedule and hasn’t quite left Norway! At last Henry is leaving Norway but before he does he pops into Hell, a small village just outside Trondheim to meet Hell's most famous resident Miss Universe 1990. Then at last into Sweden and he immediately delights in the quite incredible Swedish roads.
Motorcycle Adventurer Henry Cole is off on his travels again. This time however it could be his biggest challenge yet? The mission: To ride 2500 miles across North West Russia from St Petersburg to Journey's end in Moscow. Henry will uncover a world brought to life by spy movies - by clandestine images of military power and oppressive dictators all wrapped up against the elements in furry coats! But - after the demise of the Soviet Union, what of the Russia of today? One imagines a world of complete opposites, on the one hand opulent beauty on the other - abject poverty - a world of the haves and the have nots. A country trying its hardest to adapt to Western influences. Henry's voyage of discovery starts with a few days soaking up the luxury and cultural splendour of St Petersburg before he clambers aboard his BMW GS1200 to ride North east to towns that go by the names of Sortavala, Perdrozavodsk and Cherepovetez. Little does Henry know what he is letting himself in for as he leaves the security of St Petersburg behind. This ride will test every facet of his motorcycling skills and mental endurance! He's soon to find out that riding in Russia is something not to be taken lightly!
