McRackins are a crazily costumed pop-punk trio from Vancouver. Their debut album, "What Came First?", on Shredder records was the band's first ever release in January of '95, and turned out to be a surprise hit from an unknown band. Although many were at first skeptical of Vancouver's strangely costumed McRackins, the band won over critics with their amazing debut, and have been lighting up phone lines at radio stations across Canada and the U.S.
From your favorite, prolific Canadian Eggs, and Dog comes the infection of poppunk with a heavy salvo of Ramones/Queers intelligent stupidity. Eight snotty, melodic punk tunes with an odd sense of humor, include their happy sounding ode to Micky and Mallory from "Natural Born Killers" and one side of the cover parodies that film.
A very raw, punk rock comp. Not always the best recording going on here. Punk bands in the 90's doing cover's of 80's tunes.
