Joey is a real veteran, already active for over two decades in the music industry. As a child of the 80’s he’s been influenced by bands and artists like Depeche Mode and New Order, which can be heard in his older work. back in the days, Joey performed under the moniker ‘Dream Traveler’. One of his tracks got picked up and appeared as the opening track on Paul Oakenfold’s Tranceport compilation, back in November 1998. Time flies! A few years later he decided to leave producing club tracks behind and head for another direction and release work under his own name, Joey Fehrenbach. Work being releases were more downtempo and chill-out oriented.

Quale sarà la canzone dell’estate? “Sofia” di Alvaro Sole oppure Il tormentone “Andiamo a comandare” della web star Fabio Rovazzi?
L’accoppiata Fedez & J Ax con “Vorrei ma non POSTO”?
Farà ballare di più “Cake by The Ocean” by DNCE oppure l'irresistibile “Cheap Thrills”di Sia feat. Sean Paul?
Riempirà più piste l’electro dance di Bob Sinclar o il nuovo funk dell’astro nascente Aston Merrygold? Oppure ancora ci conquisterà la folk-ballad “Lost on you” della cantautrice italo-americana LP?

2017 release. Joey Feek's major label debut took 15 years, but it's finally going to see the light of day. In January of 2016 when Joey Feek was battling with the cervical cancer that would eventually take her life, Saving Country Music told the story of Joey Feek's major label debut album on Sony that was never released. Originally called Strong Enough to Cry, it was recorded in 2002 with producer Paul Worley (known for working with The Dixie Chicks and Martina McBride), and songwriter and performer Billy Crain.

Jack McDuff and Joey DeFrancesco personify the Jazz Organ Renaissance that is sweeping the world in this incredible recording for Concord. Organists have paired up before in recording studios but never in such a historical effort. Unlike Jack and Joey’s last double organ session which was live, this recording offered more artistic control. Concord wisely permitted Jack to put together the charts and gave Joey the bass duties to lessen the load. This album was recorded in New York City, NY, on December 11 & 12, 1995.

Extending the good vibes created out of their first pairing on the live recording Incredible!, organists Joey Defrancesco and Jimmy Smith get down to business on Legacy. The two stellar and funky musicians have a great musical rapport and seem to really enjoy playing together. Fans of Incredible! will most likely find much to enjoy here. The album has a heavy Latin sound with percussionists Ramon Banda and Jose "Joey" de Leon supplying additional timbales and conga rhythms respectively. Also joining in this time around is special guest tenor saxophonist James Moody, who adds his fiery bop chops to "Jones'n for Elvin." Backing Defrancesco and Smith here are bassist Tony Banda, guitarist Paul Bollenback, and drummer Steve Ferrone.

In a year when the best-selling holiday music will likely be represented by the whorehouse that is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra—specifically The Christmas Attic, chocked full of Keith Emerson's left over arrangements from 45 years ago merged with 1980s Steve Vai and called "art"—there is credible and well-crafted holiday music being made. Multi-instrumentalist and singer Joey DeFrancesco serves up a tasty holiday dish from that most venerated of soul-jazz instruments, the Hammond B3 Organ.
