Norma Winstone's refreshingly honest and understated vocal talents have gone largely under-recognized in the United States, but with her return to the ECM label, perhaps listeners worldwide will give her another try. Singing better than ever while exploring the deeper regions of human strength and frailty, Winstone and her outstanding, drummerless group featuring the excellent team of Italian pianist Glauco Venier and German reedman Klaus Gesing, are simply matched in heaven, high above the clouds and this mortal coil.

A prolific multi-instrumentalist, Klaus Schønning became one of Europe's most well-known new age artists during the 1980s. Born in Copenhagen in 1954, he began composing music as a child and also played piano. He made the move to blues and rock while a teenager, but also studied musicology at college. Schønning debuted in 1979 with Lydglimt, and soon began broadening the palate of electronic synthesizer music with deft orchestrations and a large array of instruments including harp, zither, dulcimer, bouzouki, glockenspiel, and many guitars. Nasavu, released in 1982, was an early touchstone in the continuing growth of new age music. Schønning recorded often throughout the 1980s, and debuted a four-part series of Symphodysse works in 1989. His music has also appeared on the Hearts of Space collection Cruisers 1.0.

The music on this excellent album was created by a highly combustible trio consisting of Ken Vandermark on tenor saxophone and clarinet, Mark Tokar on bass and Klaus Kugel on drums and percussion. This album was recorded at the Alchemia Club in Krakow in May of 2016 and begins with "13 Lines" which blasts hard right out of the gate, with Vandermark's expressive saxophone holding court with the elastic bass and drums.

CD 1 contains a complete previously unreleased album, recorded by Klaus around year 2006/2007. On CD 2 we find with the 3 tracks Schrittmacher, Ion/Andromeda and Andromeda-The Grand Trance titles written by Klaus for keyboard manufacturers and shared in very small amounts (300 pcs.) on music fairs. The theme Andromeda was released in a different, tight reduced version (Constellation Andromeda 23:52)) as bonus track on the album Dreams (MIG 01752 CD). Here you find it in its whole magnificence and hypnotic creed in full length (Ion/Andromeda and Andromeda-The Grand Trance (57:17)).

Le groupe "Maison Klaus" a été créé en septembre 1996 par le chanteur Klaus Blasquiz (Magma, Odeurs, Paga…) et le bassiste Laurent Cokelaere (Coketale, Verbeke, Milteau…).

Extensive liner notes with meditations on selected hymns by Margot Käßmann, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Markus Meckel, Judith Zander, Uwe Kolbe, and others complete the recordings.

New release of the rare and in many respects remarkable Klaus Schulze vs. Solar Moon System Album "Docking" (originally released in the year 2000 strictly limited and long exhausted wooden 10CD-Box "Contemporary Works", advanced with extensive unreleased unpublished material from the recording sessions of Klaus Schulze with Tom Dams' Solar Moon System. This 2CD Album became an "Ultimate Docking" definitely. It was a surprise when Klaus Schulze called out of the blue some late night in year Y2K Solar Moon System.
