Released in conjunction with a CD of the same name, Absolute Garbage is a collection of 16 music videos from the rock band Garbage. Fronted by Shirley Manson, whose smooth and distinctive voice is equally adept at purring as it is growling, the group also includes drummer Butch Vig, guitarist Steve Marker, and bassist Duke Erikson. But make no mistake about it: The visuals are all about the photogenic Manson. It was their breakthrough single "Only Happy When It Rains" that made an impact on both radio and MTV in 1995. Manson, who at the time resembled a fierce, red-headed version of supermodel Kate Moss, appears on screen in a blue minidress that matches her eye shadow and nail polish, and knee-length Doc Martens.

40th Anniversary Heavyweight Vinyl & Hi Res Audio Edition. Here's the edition of Ziggy Stardust everyone has been waiting for since David Bowie executed the character onstage nearly 40 years ago. Originally released through RCA Victor on June 6, 1972, Ziggy Stardust was Bowie’s fifth album, co-produced by Bowie and Ken Scott. The album eventually peaked at #5 on the UK Album Chart. Its influence is immeasurable, as it converted legions of fans, becoming the zeitgeist and a major influence on the next generation, particularly to those involved in the punk movement. Famously, Bowie killed Ziggy at his peak at London’s Hammersmith Odeon, on July 3rd, 1973. Pop music was never the same again.

Beautiful Garbage (also typeset beautifulgarbage) is the third album by alternative rock group Garbage. The album was released worldwide in October 2001 by Mushroom Records UK and in North America by Interscope and was the followup to the band's Grammy-nominated Version 2.0. Marking a departure from the sound Garbage had established on their first two records, Beautiful Garbage was written and recorded over the course of a year, during which time lead singer Shirley Manson chronicled their efforts weekly online, becoming one of the first high-profile musicians to keep an internet blog. The album is marked by expanding on the musical variety, with stronger melodies, more direct lyrics, and sounds that mix rock with electronica, new wave, hip hop and girl groups. The album's title is taken directly from a lyric in the song "Celebrity Skin" by Hole.

Garbage have released One Mile High…Live on DVD and what a release it is. This was recorded on their “comeback” tour in 2012 before an enthusiastic crowd. It was filmed, as you might expect from the title, in Denver as part of the U.S. leg of their world tour of that year. It was the first time the band had toured for seven years. It is no understatement to say that this band is firing on all cylinders in this performance. Clearly their time apart and their other outlets have done nothing to quell their passion for the band’s output. Shirley Manson, their red-headed Scottish singer, has lost none of the qualities that bewitched so many upon release of their debut.
