Ben Wallymacher has always struggled to keep up with Francis. Friends from childhood, their lives diverge as they battle with the big questions — relationships, fathering, the limits of spontaneity, the usefulness of seventies obsessions like the ‘human potential movement’ — until they’re drawn together again by Francis’ elusive daughter, Piaf.

After the success of the first Classics delivers the musical range of the singer-songwriters enough good material to ease a second part to compile. This time with gems of artists we missed out on some one like Sting, Cat Stevens and Lyle Lovett, and also the old stalwarts such as Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon. The song was inspired by Mitchell's room in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. The inspiration for the first verse comes partly from the distinct decor of her apartment. While in Philadelphia, Mitchell and friends had made a mobile from shards of colored glass they had found in the street and wire coat hangers. VanWarmer was inspired to write Just When I Needed You Most by a devastating breakup with a girlfriend: he wrote the song six months after that breakup co-writing it with Tony Wilson of the group Hot Chocolate two years before it became a hit.

You might have seen Alan Gardner exhibiting at the Chelsea Flower Show. You could hardly miss him with his shock of vermillion hair, tattoos and exquisitely painted fingernails. But he has an unusual take on life, too, because he has autism. He’s taken on a bunch of five keen horticulturalists who are also on the autistic spectrum (or “my weirdly wired proteges” as he calls them) for this garden makeover show with a difference. It’s an intriguing experiment because some of his team can’t cope with social situations, vocalise their thoughts or stay focused, while others get obsessed with details, straight lines or their own fixations. But, as Alan explains about the condition, “When you connect with what stimulates you… you can unlock genius.” The series is less about gardening and more about their unorthodox approach to it, but as you get to know the individuals, you start to see past their different traits and recognise their creative talents.

The movie follows a group of young friends in the city of Tel Aviv and is as much a love song to the city as it is an exploration of the claim that people in Tel Aviv are isolated from the rest of the country and the turmoil it's going through. The movie looks at young people's lives in Tel Aviv through the POVs of gays and straights, Jews and Arabs, men and women. It all begins when Noam, a young Israeli soldier, serves in the reserve forces and meets at a check point a Palestinian young man called Ashraf. Following an incident during which Noam misplaces his ID card at the check point, Ashraf shows up on the doorstep of the apartment that Noam shares with a gay man and a straight woman. How will the meeting affect all of their lives?
