Irish Coffee officially started in 1970, originating from another band called "The VooDoo". In the beginning they played only covers from British & American bands, such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, The Who , The Kinks etc… This band from Belgium, is killer hardrock with seering leads and really strong vocals, well composed songs. They wrote and recorded a single album of their own music. Irish Coffee did a lot of live-gigs those days and were a support-act for bands like: Focus, Dr. Feelgood, Yes, and many others. Unfortunately the band band splitted-up in 1975. 30 years later, in 2005 to our surprise there was a comeback at a Rockpalast gig in December 2005…

Classical | Eac. Flac, Image+Cue, Log | Scans | 371 MB

This is the perfect CD to counter Strawinski's dead-pan remark that Vivaldi just wrote one concerto 500 times.
Of course Igor was right in a sense. It hasn't been untill the last 25 years or so that a clear image of Vivaldi's versatile genious has emerged.
This is a Vivaldi CD that has everything to it. The nearest compeditor is perhaps Trevor Pinnock's excellent recording on ARCHIV, which also features the two mandoline concerti and the Concerto "con molti strumenti" in C major.!

Paul Chain started out in the horror-shock band Death SS in 1977, a band that combined (doomish) metal and theatrics. He has released a number of albums ranging from tradional doom to more experimental music and gained massive underground fame in doing so. His style often comes close to very early Black Sabbath. He has worked with both Lee Dorrian from Cathedral, and Wino from St Vitus, The Obsessed etc. All in all, Paul Chain is a musical genious and anybody into traditional doom should check out his work
